- if you are arriving from the railway station “Santa Lucia” the best way to reach our hotel is by waterbus (VAPORETTO). At the waterbus stop just outside the railway station catch waterbus no. 82, direction RIALTO. Get off at Rialto Stop. Then, follow the directions to St. Mark’s Square along the MERCERIE (that is the name of the street that connects St. Mark’s Square to Rialto Bridge). At the BATA SHOE SHOP turn on the right. When you find FOOTLOCKER STORE on your left in front of it there is a narrow alley, CALLE DE LE BALOTE. Go in, and 50 metres on the right you can find our hotel. There is a lantern outside and a sign on the wall near the door with the name of the hotel. Reception is always open.
One single ticket to cross Canal Grande by waterbus ACTV is quite expensive, 5€. I suggest you to buy the 24-hour long ticket (12,00€) or the 72-hour long ticket (25,00 €).
- if you are arriving from the airport of Venice “Marco Polo” you can take the very special shuttle waterbus ALILAGUNA and get off at St. Mark’s Square. Follow the directions to Rialto Bridge along the MERCERIE (that is the name of the street that connects St. Mark’s Square to Rialto Bridge).
